The Consultation
Experience

A holistic consultation is far from what you'll experience at your regular doctor.

In your consultation, we will dive deep into “The History Not Taken” to get to the root cause of your symptoms. You will receive a bespoke protocol on herbal remedies, nutrition, and lifestyle. Whether you want additional personalized fitness sessions or to join a group workshop or event, additional support can be discussed during our consultations.

You will get much longer than the allotted few minutes at your GP. The first consultation can last up to 120 minutes, while following consultations are generally 30 minutes. Longer consultations give us the time to really dive deep into your own health journey, aim to understand how your body communicates, and work together to create a plan that fits your health goals.


As everyone's needs are different, the way we’ll approach treatment will be unique and personalized to meet your own Bioindividualism. Here's an idea as to what yours might look like.

 

 

 

How to begin:​

I will set up a consultation with you where we will discuss your goals and preferences, taking into account where you are currently at in your health and fitness journey. We will then choose a plan that aligns with your schedule and commitment level. In addition to personal training sessions, we will discuss if you would like to incorporate nutrition and herbal consultations into your program. As your dedicated health and fitness partner, I am here to guide you on this empowering journey. Let’s set up your first consultation and get started!

Diving deep into your health story

We will consider the Exposome, which is all of the external and internal factors that a person is exposed to during a lifetime. It’s a round-up of sorts of your own unique history, aspects of which are known as well as others that you may have never considered, or “The History Not Taken”. Then we will go through all of the body’s systems, your past and present health, family history, lifestyle factors, major life events and emotional well-being.

Identifying the root causes

Going beyond just treating the symptoms, we will use the information gathered to build a holistic picture of your health to aim to get to the root cause of your symptoms. We will look through previous and current diagnoses supported by traditional diagnostic methods and functional testing where appropriate to make connections and determine what steps need to be taken to achieve long-term health and well-being.

Your personalized treatment protocol

You will receive a customized treatment protocol carefully designed to suit your health profile and specific needs. This comprehensive plan includes a breakdown of what we’ll focus on each month. These plans often include personalized herbal remedies, lifestyle and dietary guidance, detox strategies, exercise plans, and other recommendations. We will discuss whether any add-on support may be needed.

Monitoring your progress

We will schedule appointments after your initial consultation to check in on your healing progress, review your symptoms, assess what has shifted and adjust the protocol as needed. You will go home with a refined protocol, finely tuned to support your body’s current needs and continued healing.

You’re on a good path, so let’s keep it that way! Health is not merely the absence of disease, instead, it is a life truly lived – by proactively encouraging vitality, energy, and cultivating your internal environment to keep illness at bay.

 

Erin is available through follow-up appointments and will stay in touch through ongoing advice and continued support. You can also stay motivated along your health journey through group courses, workshops, events and personal training sessions offered by Erin. A wellness session membership is a great opportunity to have regular sessions so you can continue adapting to your ever-changing health journey needs, while keeping your motivation high.

Tools to maintain practices long after our sessions are through. Likely to include changes to nutrition, eating patterns, herbs, and lifestyle.

  • Personalization: All work is personalized. While there are foundations that I believe are important for all humans, health is nuanced by nature and herbalism is holistic. All sessions (group or individual) consider your unique needs.​​
